Announcement 5/31/26: Support our local baseball team, the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts!
Each week in June, Celtic Cup will be giving away 2 sets of 4 tickets each to come watch the T-Bolts play at Montgomery Blair Stadium, conveniently located at 51 University Boulevard E in Silver Spring, MD!
Tickets are valid for any of the team’s regular home games, continuing through July, so you’ll have lots of chances to find a game that works for you!
- One entry ballot per in-person visit to the Celtic Cup Coffee Tasting Room per day. Entry ballots will collect your name and telephone number (which will be used for no other purposes).
- Winners will be limited to one set of four tickets per week.
- Drawings will take place at the end of each Saturday in June based on entries from that week; winners will be called by phone.
- Winners must collect their tickets in person at the Celtic Cup Coffee Tasting Room during our regular business hours within 2 weeks of the winning drawing. Please be prepared to show a valid ID that matches the name on the winning entry ballot. Tickets not collected during that time period may be repurposed.

Celtic Cup Coffee specializes in helping our customers elevate their home coffee experience. We stock only specialty grade single origin coffees and roast them in one-pound micro-batches to your preferred roast level on-site in our new Coffee Roastery and Tasting Room. Come visit us in downtown Silver Spring!
Before committing to buying a full pound, you can taste our freshly roasted coffees. We offer a daily selection of three brewed coffees, or you can choose your own custom pour-over or espresso. Pour-overs and straight espresso are available at any time for any of our current single origin coffees, and often along the full range of roast levels from light through dark — sometimes even from extra light through extra dark!
If you’re interested in exploring different coffees or roast levels, why not try one of our coffee tasting flights? These are available for the daily set of three brewed coffees, or as a custom tasting flight of three espressos of your choice.
We also offer a selection of sweet treats to enjoy with your coffee. And, for those who may not be as fully committed to coffee as we are, we offer a selection of tea: black tea, peppermint tea, and cascara chai, which is made from the dried coffee cherries (the coffee fruit).
While we do stock a small selection of pre-roasted sample packs for your convenience (in 3.5 ounce bags), we generally don’t pre-roast coffee and let it sit around getting stale. We roast your pound of coffee specifically for you, only after you place your order.
In-person orders can often be available within an hour – still slightly warm from the roaster. Online orders are often completed on the same or next business day – you will be notified by email that your coffee is ready for pick up. Orders can be shipped for an additional fee.
Metro and Parking Nearby
We are conveniently located about a block north of the Silver Spring Metro station. We recommend you exit on the ‘NORTH’ side of Colesville and walk ‘up’ in the direction of downtown Silver Spring. If you accidentally exit on the wrong side, you’ll just need to walk past the Paul S. Sarbanes Transit Center (the main bus station), then cross over to the other side of Colesville Road at the traffic light at Wayne Ave / Second Ave then look for us next to the lobby of the nearby Argent Spring office building!
The parking spaces in front of the Celtic Cup Roastery and Tasting Room are NOW OPEN as 1-hour metered parking spaces. They are available for parking from 9:30am until 10pm.
On weekdays, you can also consider the Argent Spring building parking lot (entrance on Ramsey St). Otherwise, additional metered parking is available on Ramsey St, Fidler Ln, and Cameron St. There’s also the Cameron Street Municipal Garage (Garage 7) where Ramsey and Cameron meet (8530 Cameron St).
